Mike is the editor of Carlylehouse and has extensive experience studying trees, learning about tree removal, and practicing trimming on the side. He enjoys designing websites in his spare time and blogging about trees. He will be the main author of this blog, and would love to answer any questions you have about tree health/home improvement projects in general (as those are also fun to do!).
Backstory: I was born and raised in California (San Diego to be exact) and fell in love with trees at a young age. When I was in middle school I would be outside climbing instead of playing video games like the other kids. I built by first tree house when I was about 14 years old with the help of my dad, and have been fascinated by the trees ever since. As I grew older, I wanted to learn more about the intricacies trees bring to the planet, and started studying their biological makeup and environmental impact. To this day, that will be one of my favorite things to blog about.
